The Expedition Series retains the classic Lucas-style housings and original bezels for authenticity, while upgrading all lighting internally to LED for superior brightness, reliability, and energy efficiency. Dimmable dash lighting and hidden relays keep the cabin clean and functional, while optional headlight upgrades and enhanced rear lighting provide maximum visibility in remote and demanding environments—blending classic style with modern expedition-ready performance.

Inside, the Expedition Series balances heritage craftsmanship with expedition durability. Cabins can be restored to original specification or tailored to individual preference, with options ranging from genuine Connolly leather and premium hides to period-correct materials like Teddy Bear cloth or velour. Dash pads are restored or re-trimmed, headliners replaced, and door cards rebuilt with new boards and foams. Original switchgear is retained and refurbished where possible, maintaining authenticity while ensuring dependable function for years of adventure.

The Expedition Series features a redesigned, integrated air-conditioning and heating system, engineered for precise climate control in every environment—from desert heat to alpine cold. Compact and efficient, the system frees up cabin space, improves reliability, and reduces weight, ensuring comfort on even the longest journeys.

Each shell is stripped and repaired using traditional metalwork techniques — including panel beating, lead wiping, and rust remediation. Bodywork is prepared with minimal filler and painted in either original Land Rover colours or custom finishes. Seam sealer is reapplied throughout. The underside is finished in rust protection and stone guard, colour-matched where appropriate.

For durability and safety, all glass is polished or replaced with OEM or laminated Triplex safety glass. Every seal, channel, and rubber is renewed, including windscreen, alpine windows, and tailgate apertures. The result is a cabin that’s quieter, drier, and protected against the elements—built for the realities of expedition travel.

The Expedition Series begins with the original chassis, steam-cleaned, media-blasted, inspected, and strengthened where needed. Comprehensive rust protection includes internal wax injection and external coatings in POR15 or equivalent, with optional body-colour finishes. Suspension mounts are reinforced, and galvanised chassis options are available for maximum long-term durability—ensuring the foundation of the vehicle is as rugged as the journeys it’s built to conquer.
